Kiddie Bus Transportation is a new business in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are a professional and proficient bus service provider that strives to provide efficient, safe, and first-class transportation to passengers in the South Florida area.

We are currently in need of Drivers who can safely and accurately transport our students from one destination to another. The ideal candidate will have previous experience driving school buses/vans, have a valid Florida driver's license, and be willing to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. This is a 20 to 30 hour part-time position with the ability to work overtime should the need arise and is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the van to and from school or destination at a safe and reasonable speed.
• Know and follow local laws related to driving and parking around schools.
• Follow the directions of the school administrators, assistant or head administrators, and program directors including but not limited to those concerning student behavior management and vehicle operation.
• Drive the van with a full load of students.
• Drive the van with a full load of students in bad weather conditions.
• Be willing to drive anywhere within a designated zone in the Broward County area.

Requirements:

• A valid Florida Driver License or be otherwise authorized to drive in Florida (Sec. 322.032, F.S.).
• Must pass a criminal and driving record background check.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Have the mental, emotional and physical ability to safely carry out the duties in operating a motor vehicle for hire.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Broward County Chauffeur's (Hack) License. Please read Broward County's Chapter 22-½-8 for a full list of requirements for this license.
• Have at least 5 years overall driving experience.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30+* per week (*) As needed
